Clock Tower
The Clock Tower in Sighisoara is a medieval tower built in the 14th century, which served as a watchtower and prison in the past. It is a popular tourist attraction and is considered one of the most recognizable landmarks of Sighisoara. The tower features a functional clock and a museum that showcases the history of Sighisoara and its fortress. Since 1898, the tower has housed the History Museum, where it is still located today.
