Harman Fortified Church, located near Brasov, is one of the most impressive and well-preserved medieval monuments in Transylvania. Built in the 13th century by the Saxon colonists, the church was fortified in the 15th century to withstand the Ottoman invasions and other threats. The fortified church in Harman is a remarkable structure surrounded by a circular wall adorned with seven towers.
